THANK YOU STATE SENATOR AL MELVIN
BARBERS AND BARBER BOARD GETS CONTINUED
FOR 8 MORE YEARS
Every ten years or so this agency has to show its’ value to the State Legislature to stay intact, regulated, and secure in the knowledge that we can continue to protect the health, safety, and welfare of this State. To accomplish this, a bill needs to be written and sponsored by a state lawmaker. We were and are fortunate that Senator Al Melvin answered our needs and sponsored Senate Bill 1314. SB1314 proposed that the Arizona State Board of Barbers be allowed to continue on its quest to serve this great state and, with Senator Melvin’s constant support and effort, the bill was passed and signed by the Governor.
We here at the board salute Senator Melvin for his steadfast belief and interest in the barbering profession, this agency, our board, and what we continue to strive for.
All of us here at the Arizona State Board of Barbers, and all of the Barbers in the State of Arizona, would like to say “Thank You” to our friend, Senator Al Melvin!
